Owners of Chandan Fashion and stars of CBC’s hit docuseries Bollywed

The Singh Family – consisting of father Kuki, his wife Sarab, their two children Chandan and Chandni, and daughter-in-law Roop – have operated their iconic bridal shop, Chandan Fashion, in Toronto’s Little India for close to 40 years. They are the stars of CBC’s hit docuseries titled Bollywed (now streaming on CBC Gem, CBC’s free streaming service, and CBC’s YouTube channel), which centres around the family as two generations take on the ever-changing and extravagant world of South Asian weddings. From sacred rituals, distinct and gorgeous pre-events and celebrations, and of course, the many outfit changes with the most extravagant and beautiful designs, Bollywed offers an authentic glimpse into an intergenerationally run business. Since its debut on CBC in 2023, the series has won the hearts of audiences from across Canada and the world thanks to the family’s charm and their authentic portrayal of a Sikh Punjabi Canadian family.
