Cazhhmere | Director

Described by many as Canada’s busiest female music video director, Cazhhmere has directed over 200 music videos for broadcast TV over the past 14 years. Cazhhmere is an accomplished director whose work has been described as visual seduction. In 2010 she was the first female in over 7 years to be nominated for MuchMusic’s coveted Director of the Year award for directing Sony Music artist Classified’s hit “Oh Canada”. The award winning director has worked with artists Howie D (The Backstreet Boys), Royce da 5’9 (Shady Records), Snoop Dogg, JRDN (Universal), Juicy J (Academy Award winner, Taylor Gang), Kardinal Offishall, Melanie Fiona (Universal Republic), Karl Wolf and many others. In 2015, Cazhhmere branched out from the music video world to explore other areas of filmmaking. Since then she has teamed up with The CBC to write and direct her debut documentary Deeply Rooted, released in February 2017. With Deeply Rooted under her belt, she is currently in post-production on several short films, developing an original series for TV and slated to release two feature length films by 2020.


Bill Ferwerda
 | Senior Colourist, Deluxe 

Over his 30 year career in film, television and commercial productions, Bill Ferwerda has worked with icons of music and art including David Bowie and the renowned photographer and director Floria Sigismondi. His credits include the Emmy award winning series, The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu), Polar (Constantine), Ethan Hawke’s BlazeCondor (MGM),  and Margaret Atwood’s Alias Grace (CBC).

In 2012, Bill received the prestigious Bob Mann Award for lifetime achievement and creative contribution to the post-production industry. He has also been recognized with Bessie, Cannes Lions, International Monitor and other accolades for his colour grading craft.

Prior to joining Deluxe Toronto in 2016, Bill spent fifteen years as a colourist and partner at the Toronto creative boutique Notch. A highly collaborative partner, Bill strives to create unique images in his work and explore innovative ways to enhance storytelling through the use of colour.


Stuart Campbell | Director of Photography

Stuart Campbell is a cinematographer who currently resides in Toronto but shoots globally. He discovered his love for the arts is his 20’s and spent years as an art director at some of Canada’s top advertising agencies, being recognized for his work internationally. Stuart’s route to becoming an awarded cinematographer was by no means traditional but it’s that indirect path that brings the unique vision to the films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries that he works on. Karen Chapman | Filmmaker

Born to Guyanese parents, award-winning filmmaker, Karen Chapman is an alumna of Emily Carr University, the Banff Centre and the CaribbeanTales Incubator, where she won best pitch.

In 2018, Playback magazine named her one of “5 Filmmakers to Watch” and she completed the Cineplex Entertainment Film program Directors’ Lab at the Canadian Film Centre.

Her film, Lesson Injustice won Best Screenplay Award WIFT – Toronto’s 2019 Showcase and she received Bell Media’s Harold Greenberg Funding for her film, Esequibo Rapture, a love story set in the rainforest of Guyana. Currently, Chapman is preparing to shoot her first feature film, Village Keeper, through Telefilm Canada’s Talent Program.
