In this hidden war the battlefield is the home, where thousands of women live in fear in the one place they should feel safe. In a personal form of terrorism, domestic violence killed more Canadian women in the same ten year period than all our troops killed in Afghanistan. This is a stark intimate portrayal of how women cope and begin to fight back.
