Canadian Media Renaissance.
The Canadian film and television industry is currently experiencing a renaissance, marked by innovation and an ever-expanding global audience. The global nature in which we consume content is changing at a rapid speed, and the Canadian media industry is adapting and pivoting to ensure its viability for years to come.
To celebrate and navigate these exciting trends, the Academy presents this year’s Members Forum, our reimagined industry conference, under the theme “Canadian Media Renaissance.”
This three-day event will cover a wide range of screenings and events, celebrating Canadian content’s growing global influence and success while delving into the innovation and creativity that is shaping the future of storytelling. Attendees can connect with fellow members of the industry, learn from successful Canadian film and television professionals, and immerse themselves in new and emerging trends that are driving the industry forward.

Registration for Members is Open Now.
All events are FREE for members of the Academy, CMPA, and DGC – Ontario. Panels will be available for members to stream at a later date. More information regarding virtual access to follow.
Registration is open now for Members and is required for all events. Members are limited to one (1) free ticket per event. In order to register for Members Forum as an Academy Member you must provide your membership number. If you are unsure of your membership number, please reach out to membership@academy.ca.
Non-Member Public Tickets.
Tickets for select events will be available to the public starting Wednesday, May 8, 2024 (subject to availability) at a rate of $30.00 (+fees) per ticket. Non-members will have access to panel/screening events only. Complimentary popcorn and non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, water) will be available.
