Synopsis:
Starring Jonathan Torrens and Alicia McCarvell. The Essex-West-Essex Volunteer Fire Department has everything a “real” fire department does: a cool truck, immaculate uniforms, playful nicknames. In fact, the only thing EWEVFD doesn’t have is fires. Fortunately, they’re kept pretty busy with the type of calls you might expect in rural Canada. A cow in a river. A stuck tractor. A wrong number. This is the story of their high-stakes low-flame world as the Vollies fight for relevance amongst the Fullies, the Counties and The Mayor, a former Vollie who is determined to bring them down.
