Synopsis:
The Way Out follows the journey of a Quebec mother whose teenaged daughter left Canada in 2014 for Syria, was married off to an ISIS member and unable to leave. The mother travels to Europe and Turkey, talking to anyone who can help get her daughter home, eventually putting her trust in a Syrian militia group for the harrowing escape.
