Join us for National Canadian Film Day as we mark 30 years of Bruce McDonald’s iconic music mockumentary Hard Core Logo, followed by a panel discussion exploring the act of putting music on film.

The night will kick off with a special screening of Will Niava’s award-winning short film Jazz Infernal, a semi-autobiographical story exploring immigration, grief, and family legacy through Montreal’s jazz scene.

Following Hard Core Logo, Hollywood Suite’s Cameron Maitland will lead a discussion on the craft of putting musicians on film, featuring panelists who have worked on Sinners, How To Fail As A Popstar and Learn To Swim.
