During its 45 season, the Fifth Estate examined the school shooter psychology, de-radicalization of Canadian-born ISIS fighters, the secret influence of the gun lobby, police militarization against indigenous gangs, mystery of genealogical crime solving, impacts of solitary confinement, and the catholic church’s secret list of predator priests. Each story exposes wrong-doing and holds the powerful to account.
