Davey and Jonesie come through the locker and are quickly pulled by Emile into a press conference, where they learn that they're in a Thunder-Dome-esque universe where they are mortal enemies who are expected to battle it out in a brutal grudge match later that day. After botching the press conference, Cheryl appears in record time but gets waylaid by Principal Neighbors. The girls find Schneider who, in this world, is more pathetic than usual since he's part of the faculty who mostly just spend their days watching the children fight in the arena while being waited on hand and foot. Seeing as the girls don't want to fight each other, and are wildly unathletic, Schneider tells them of a "Lost Winner" that can train them in the art of fake fighting. In the meantime, he'll find safe passage through the halls, AKA the "Ride of Die Zone" that's controlled by a motorcycle gang of marauding students, to get to his lab and fix the portal with some unlikely help from Joyce. Davey and Jonesie head down to the basement to find the Lost Winner and are shocked to learn that it's Sierra, who agrees to teach them the art of fake fighting. Unfortunately, the grudge match doesn't go as planned, and Cheryl seizes her moment to finally nab the girls. But not before the girls seize an opportunity to upend the status quo, pitting the students on the "homeworkers" instead of each other and taking Cheryl down in the process.
