Indigenous Art Adventures is an inspiring children’s educational art series hosted by Lance Cardinal of the Bigstone Cree Nation. Guided by Lance, children explore traditional teachings, create beautiful crafts, and learn Cree words––all while making meaningful memories. The series incorporates cultural elements such as the Seven Sacred Teachings, sacred symbols, and traditional practices like smudging, with a focus on community and creativity. Lance brings each craft to life by connecting it with an important cultural story or lesson. Children can create anything from a colourful ribbon skirt doll to a healing jingle dress puppet, each project infused with cultural significance.
