Synopsis:
Montréal, winter 2002. Stéphane, a 19-year-old metal head is studying graphic design and dreams of becoming an illustrator. But in the past few months, he has been spiraling down a dangerous path: he has become addicted to gambling. Homeless, avoiding what remains of his friends and in major debt, he takes a job as a dishwasher in a popular restaurant. That job becomes his salvation as, in the weeks leading up to Christmas, he discovers and befriends the colorful characters who work at La Trattoria.
Montréal, hiver 2002. Stéphane, 19 ans, fan de Métal, étudiant en graphisme rêve de devenir illustrateur. Mais depuis des mois il s'engouffre dans une spirale menaçante : il est accro aux jeux. Endetté, sans appartement, évitant ses amis à qui il doit de l'argent, Stéphane prend un job de plongeur dans un restaurant afin de s'en sortir.
