CBC News: Here & Now: Picking up the pieces: The aftermath of Fiona
Synopsis:
Post-tropical storm Fiona slammed into the south coast of Newfoundland last September. It ravaged coastlines, obliterated communities, and forever changed the lives of its residents. Entire homes, even people, were swept out to sea. As communities began picking up the pieces, CBC Newfoundland and Labrador dedicated its entire evening news program to breaking coverage from Port aux Basques.
