Synopsis:

Over 50 Canadian veterans tell the personal and sometimes emotional stories of their experiences during the worst war ever: World War Two. We hear and see the first-hand accounts of the soldiers, sailors, airmen and civilians who were there. Their powerful and moving testimonies are woven together with vivid combat footage – colourized with the latest technology – to bring the viewer an experience of the war, and what it meant, as never before. FIGHT TO THE FINISH commemorates the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII, and Canada’s essential role in the victory over fascism.
