Synopsis:

Set in Toronto in the late 1890s/early 1900s, Murdoch Mysteries follows Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) and his wife Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy), as they use radical forensic techniques to solve a range of gruesome murders. Joining them are Inspector Thomas Brackenreid (Thomas Craig), Constables George Crabtree (Jonny Harris), Henry Higgins (Lachlan Murdoch), and Detective Llewellyn Watts (Daniel Maslany).
