ELAINE DUMONT – NATP 1989-90

Élaine Dumont

Born and raised in Quebec, Élaine studied acting and theatre before attending film school. After earning a B.A. in cinema from Concordia University, she worked in various aspects of film, radio and television; teaching, assistant directing, directing, casting, screenwriting and producing. She wrote, produced and directed several short films and television documentaries winning prestigious awards and enjoying international distribution. Élaine is currently on staff at SODEC (Société de développement des entreprises culturelles) as a content analyst in the cinema department.
