MESSAGE TO MEMBERS REGARDING ACADEMY DOWNSIZING
The Academy has faced a challenging financial environment this year despite the continuing support of its members, sponsors and industry partners. Unfortunately though, as a result of declining revenues, the Academy has had to take key steps to reduce its operating expenditures in order to maintain its commitment to its awards presentations and membership activities. We recently reduced the number of staff positions in Toronto and Vancouver and will close our office located in Burnaby effective April 15th. Despite the Western office closure, we are committed to continuing to serve our members in the Western Region.
