MESSAGE FROM FRANCIS DOMINGUE, MEMBERSHIP MANAGER
As you know, we are gearing up for the 30th Annual Genie Awards! In the coming weeks, members of the Cinema division will be receiving important information about this year’s voting process. Honouring excellence in our industry is the very foundation of the Academy and the most compelling reason to be a member. Please take the time to support and celebrate your industry colleagues!
I would also like to remind you that in order to vote for the Genie Awards, you must be a Voting Member in the Cinema Division before the announcement of this year’s Genie nominations. If your membership is about to expire, please contact the Membership Department as soon as possible.
Finally, if your membership renewal is due, and you know someone who should be a Voting member of the Academy, get them to join and both of you will save! You will receive a 50% discount on your renewal fees, and the new member will receive a 50% discount on their first year’s fees.

Are you an Academy member in the Cinema division? Should you be? PLEASE NOTE: To vote in the upcoming 30th Annual Genie Awards, you must be a Voting Member in the Cinema division as of Monday February 8, 2010. If you have any questions, please contact your local Academy office to confirm your voting status.
